Our repair typically takes 3 to 5 business days, depending on the availability of parts. If any part is on backorder, the repair process may take longer than usual.
Once an order cost is approved by a client and the repair is completed, the order cannot be canceled. The client will either be charged for labor and a restocking fee for the parts, or, if the parts are special order items, the client will be charged the full amount. If payment is not made, the unit will be recycled or sold to cover the charges.
All old parts are shipped to the part supplier to keep prices low or are recycled. We do not send old parts back to clients at any point. We also do not provide pictures, part numbers, troubleshooting manuals, or any other documentation. Additionally, we do not sell any used or brand new parts; we only offer repair services.
If a unit remains in our facility for more than six months without any response or prior notification from the client, it may be recycled or disposed of. If the client declines a repair and requests the return of the unit, we will promptly email an invoice for the return shipping. If the invoice is not paid within six months, the same disposal rules will apply. Additionally, if the camera is recoverable, there will be fees that need to be paid.
Our return shipping is always free for repairs, but this applies only within the United States. Please note that the free return shipping service does not include expedited shipping, and customers cannot choose their carrier. Video Cam Repair is not responsible for any items or orders left in our facility for more than 90 days without notification.
At Video Camera Repair, we specialize in expert repair services for cameras, camcorders, and lenses.
